Saviour Brewery brews a green hops version of Boozer

Saviour Brewery is based in an outbuilding at the White Hart Inn, Hamstead Marshall.

Northdown, Fuggles and Golding hops grow wild in the garden of the White Hart Inn.

Saviour’s Brewer John Trueman used freshly picked Northdown hop flowers for a green hop version of Boozer brewed in September.

Boozer has 3 hops.  Northdown and Cascade from Charles Faram in the main brew then Northdown from the garden in the hopback.  John Trueman said ‘As the garden flowers are introduced at the end of the boil the hop oils are prominent.  You can certainly taste the new flowers: a dryness that you don’t normally encounter.’
