About the pub
Overlooks the cricket ground of Falkland Cricket Club which is surrounded by trees and gives extended views to the west. Richard Hayman took over the pub in October 2013. Food includes sausages and burgers and an interesting range of main meals and Sunday roasts.
The old building was demolished and a new cricket pavilion building is the new home for the Bowler’s Arms which reopened in 2021.
Sporting events are shown on TV screens at the pub.
Outside areas include front terrace and roof terrace (external stairs, to right of side entrance, to access).
N.B. From Sundays to Wednesdays, the pub may close earlier than shown if there are not enough customers. Advice is to check ahead, before a late evening visit on these nights, to avoid possible disappointment.
