This is a CAMRA Festival. Organised by South Oxfordshire.The South Oxfordshire branch of CAMRA is delighted to announce that their Festival of Ale will be returning at this year’s Woodcote Rally.
The Rally itself is being held for the first time since 2019 and will be held in a field just off Tidmore Lane, Woodcote, Oxfordshire on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July.
CAMRA South Oxfordshire has been running a real ale tent in a marquee as part of the larger Woodcote Rally for almost 45 years. The overall event is a veteran transport rally with steam traction engines, vintage cars, but also arts & craft stalls, animal enclosures, a funfair, amusements, live music and multiple food pop-ups. There is free car-parking, but a reasonably modest individual entrance fee to the overall event of around £10 for the Saturday and Sunday afternoon arena events.
We will have around 25-30 real ales from local and regional brewers, plus half a dozen or so real ciders. We also sell lager, wines and soft drinks, as we are the only licenced bar at the event. There is no additional entrance cost to the CAMRA Festival of Ales itself. It is also totally free of charge for the Saturday evening events, which are centred around the CAMRA beer tent, music stage and food pop-ups.
Woodcote Rally is a fantastic event for the whole family, and a great opportunity for CAMRA to promote our exceptional local beers.
