In the 2023 edition of the GBG the Swindon branch included 6 pubs located in Swindon, all within walking distance of Swindon Railway station but to make things easier it is better to use a bus to get to the first pub which is the furthest from the station.
The pubs are:

The Hop Inn, 8 Devizes Road, Swindon, SN1 4BH. 50 min stop.
Hop Kettle Tap & Brew, 51 Devizes Rd, Swindon SN1 4BG. 50 min stop.
The Beehive, 55 Prospect Hill, Swindon SN1 3JS. 50 min stop
The Wyvern Tavern, 49-50 Bridge St, Swindon SN1 1BL. 60 min stop to allow for eating.
Glue Pot, 5 Emlyn Square, Swindon SN1 5BP.

To do the journey today between Bracknell and Swindon the standard return fare would be £32.00.

11:23am Arrive Swindon Railway Station
Walk to Swindon Bus Station (about 200m).
Catch the No. 9 bus at 11:35am. Get off at Prospect, 4 stops.
If the train is late catch the No. 22 bus from outside the station (Stop R, by the taxi rank) at 11:44am. This is run by the Swindon Bus Company and uses credit/debit cards for tap-on/tap-off as payment. Get off at Prospect, 5 stops.
Walk to Goddard Arms
Have lunch at the Goddard Arms
13:30pm Leave Goddard Arms to walk to the Hop Inn
2:25pm Leave the Hop Inn for the Hop Kettle.
This pub is on the opposite side of the road.
3:15pm Leave the Hop Kettle to walk to the Beehive. This is a half mile walk.
3:30pm Arrive at the Beehive
4:20pm Leave the Beehive to walk to the Wyvern Tavern. This is a half mile walk.
4:35pm Arrive at the Wyvern Tavern. This pub also does food if further sustenance is needed.
5:35pm Leave the Wyvern Tavern to walk to the Glue Pot. This is a quarter of a mile walk.
5:45pm Arrive at the Glue Pot
7:00pm Leave the Glue Pot to walk back to Swindon Railway Station. This is a half mile walk.
7:15pm arrive Swindon Station
