The ‘Fusion Group’ Newbury Real Ale Festival is a not for profit festival staffed by volunteers from Newbury and Thatcham Hockey Club – raising funds for NTHC and local charities. Advance ticket purchase is recommended.
‘The biggest beer garden in the south of England for a day!’
The list of beers and ciders is available from the festival website. www.newburyrealale.co.uk/drinks
The Festival starts at midday. ‘Last Orders’ will be called after the last music act finishes, and the site will close thereafter. The entrance is at the Northbrook Leisure Centre end of Northbrook lane.
Due to the cost and nature of providing real ales, the festival is unable to obtain an exhaustive supply of ale and cider. There are increased quantities of both this year but if the event is a success then supplies will inevitably run out at some point during the evening. Therefore those who arrive later in the day should be prepared that the range on offer may be slightly reduced.
There are two stages for live music which kicks off on the main stage at 12.15pm with Cluster Truck and the last act is Faux Fighters at 19.30pm. See festival website for lineup and times. newburyrealale.co.uk/music
Food can be purchased from vendors at the festival. Food may also be brought into the festival site but no alcohol. Fresh water stations are located at the end of every bar.
Dogs that do not have a formal registration as an assistance dog will not be allowed onto site.
No gazebos allowed but childrens popup sun shelters etc will be allowed.
Cash and card payments allowed (card preferred).
