Hope you have participated and enjoyed the 2023 Summer of Pub so far… In just over 3 weeks time you can indulge again but at a local beer festival being run by your Branch.
Not to be confused with the now-defunct OctoberFest, our Septembeer Fest will run over 3 days at Basingstoke Sports & Social Club, have no entry cost and will feature over 25 wonderful cask ales sourced locally and far and wide, with some rarely seen beers in this area. Starting 12 noon on Friday September 1st with a quiet session until 10.30pm, Saturday 2nd will start at 12 and go on until 11pm with a free evening outdoor music line-up of local bands from around 7pm onwards.
If there is any beer left we will also open from 12 to 4pm (or possibly later) to sup up on Sunday September 3rd.
Sadly there is a planned rail strike on the Saturday so we recommend your non-local mates try to make the Friday or find alternative transport.
Watch our FB page for updates plus the beer list is now available to check out on our website. If you fancy helping out, we are looking for servers for 4 hour sessions on the Friday and Saturday, and possibly Sunday if the beer is still on.
