Theakston beer tasting at the Castle, Cold Ash

Mary McConnell of The Castle Inn, Cold Ash, West Berkshire, invites CAMRA members and their friends to a tutored beer tasting on Tuesday 19th May, 2026 from 6.00pm.
There will be four Theakston beers to try. These are likely to be:
Old Peculiar (draught),
Theakston Pale,
Barista Stout (possibly on draught),
and Best Bitter.
The session will be led by Will Theakston (Director) and Will Hewitt (Business Development Executive).
In addition, there will be lucky dip goody bag prizes with various goodies such as a beer glass, polo t-shirt and towel.
West Berkshire CAMRA will be there to promote the Campaign for Real Ale and to sign up new members (who will get a free drink).
