Recently published, a limited number of CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2025 (GBG) will be available for sale at the launch event which is being held at The Hungerford Club, The Croft, Hungerford on Monday 30 September at 7.30pm.
Publicans of West Berkshire pubs included in the Guide have been invited to receive their GBG packs with promotional materials at the Hungerford Club. This is a good opportunity for a social evening and for meeting publicans / staff in an informal setting.
A limited number of Guides will be available for sale, with a discount for CAMRA members. NB. All of the copies available will have the ‘Yorkshire’ cover (The Woolpack from Emmerdale on TV).
Thanks to all CAMRA members who have assisted with the GBG selection process by scoring their beers e.g. by using WhatPub. Please continue to score beers so that all pubs can be eligible for consideration.
Hungerford station is served by trains from Newbury etc.. NB There is a limited return service due engineering works. The last direct train departs Hungerford at 21.38. The next service is a rail replacement bus departing at 22.55.
