Lambourn Valley Cider Co

Formed in 1995 to make traditional cider from local culinary apples. Produced several different ciders, which won awards in 1998 and 1999, and also a perry from two ancient local trees. In January 2001 the company planted an orchard of perry pear and cider apple trees at
Shefford Woodlands. In 2007 it was decided to cease cider production; concentrate on producing perry, which will mostly be bottle-fermented in champagne bottles.
