Every year current and back issues of Ullage are distributed at the Great British Beer Festival, Olympia, London.

On Tuesday 2 August, Tim Thomas (Ullage Editor) took copies to display in the magazine racks at the CAMRA bookshop and to add to the display which CAMRA volunteer Adrian Bean organised for the end of the bar of the Drunken Duck Inn in the National Hall (main photo).

CAMRA’s BEER magazine and magazines from other branches including Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead CAMRA Angle can also be found in the magazine racks at the CAMRA bookshop in the Great Hall.

Tim was able to thank some of the regular Ullage advertisers who had stands at the festival including Renegade Brewery (Clare Candy and Mike Harrison Wood) and Arkell’s Brewery (below: Alex Arkell, Phil Mercer and Nick Arkell).

Tuesday afternoon is the Trade Session at GBBF.

Tim was also able to hand Ullage magazine to contacts involved with CAMRA including Beer Writer Pete Brown who had earlier made a presentation about the ‘Drink Cask Fresh‘ campaign.

At the Broad Arrow Tavern bar, Tim gave an Ullage to ‘Hoppy’ Lotte Peplow, the Brewers Association American Craft Beer Ambassador for Europe.

Tim enjoyed a glass of Time and a Half NEIPA served from the cask and brewed by Aeronaut Brewing Co of Somerville, Massachusetts (Boston area) on his visit to this bar.

Brighton based freelance writer, audio maker and podcast consultant Emma Inch also accepted a copy of Ullage from Tim.

Ullage magazine can also be found at many pubs in West Berkshire and can be read online from the Magazines tab on the West Berkshire CAMRA website.
