10th MAIDENHEAD BEER & CIDER FESTIVAL 2023 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
After the success of 2022, the Maidenhead Beer & Cider Festival returns!
This year’s Festival will take place on Friday and Saturday 7/8th July 2023, noon to 11pm. We return to the same fabulous venue: the NMCC Sports Bar at Summerleaze Park, off Summerleaze Road, Maidenhead, SL6 8SP.
Like all CAMRA beer festivals Maidenhead is run by volunteers.
You have previously volunteered or have expressed an interest in doing so for this year, and your volunteer-help will be greatly welcomed to:
- Help build the festival on Tuesday 4th July, Wednesday 5th July and Thursday 6th July.
- Run the festival on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th July.
- Dismantle the festival on Sunday 9th July.
As well as having lots of fun volunteers receive food and drink vouchers for every session they work.
In addition to the vouchers, you will also be entitled to:
- Free entry to the festival on days you are not working.
- If you volunteer to help dismantle the festival, you get to take home any unsold beer or cider left over at the end of the festival.
To save costs, this year we WILL NOT have a festival T-shirt; instead, volunteers are asked to wear a beer related T-shirt. Similarly, there will be no festival glass; instead, glasses will be free issue glasses from previous festivals.

We also need First Aiders – if you hold a valid Emergency First Aid in the Workplace or a full First Aid in the Workplace” certificate, then you could help by volunteering your time on either the 7th or 8th of July.
