The Kennet Morris Men danced outside the Six Bells, Beenham, on Wednesday 6 May, while the freehouse received its branch Pub of the Year award.
Presenting the award, branch Press Officer, Andy Pinkard, congratulated the Six Bells for appearing in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide for seven consecutive years.
Accepting, landlord Chris Harman said 'pubs are a great English institution and long may they continue'.
Local ales from West Berkshire, Two Cocks and Loddon breweries were served from the bar of the pub which is also home for Chris and Glynis.
A rapid stream of dishes delivered from the kitchen ensured nobody was left hungry as the Morris dancers, now indoors, heartily sang traditional songs.

The Six Bells will now go forward to the Berkshire stage of the contest and will be judged against: the Queens Head, Wokingham; the Fox and Hounds, Caversham and the White Horse, Hedgerley by aggregating scores from CAMRA members visiting these pubs.
